About this bottle
Billecart-Salmon Brut Réserve (pronounced broot ruh-ZAIRV) is a dry white sparkling wine from France, in an impressive methuselah bottle (6 l) for the biggest celebrations. Billecart-Salmon is a highly regarded house famous for its exceptional finesse and very delicate bubbles; Brut Réserve is its flagship non-vintage Champagne. On the nose, green apple, pear and citrus, followed by notes of brioche, almond and white flowers. The bubbles are very fine and silky, the palate elegant, fresh and precise, and the finish long, clean and mineral. Excellent for a grand toast, as an aperitif and with seafood, fish and poultry.

About the houseA family house from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ that for more than two hundred years has made Champagne its own way: cool, slow and obsessed with freshness. Many sommeliers start a conversation about rosé Champagne with its rosé, and its Nicolas François 1959 won a tasting in 1999 held to choose the Champagne of the millennium.History, people and stories: Billecart-Salmon
