About this bottle
Leclerc Briant Blanc de Meuniers is a white sparkling wine from France. It is a rare vintage Champagne made entirely from Meunier, from the highly regarded biodynamic house Leclerc Briant. Long ageing on the lees gives it a fruity depth and precision rare for this underrated grape. On the nose, ripe apple, pear, peach, a hint of brioche, nuts and honey. The bubbles are very fine and creamy, the palate full, fruity and precise, and the finish very long, with a hint of bread. Excellent with seafood, poultry in sauces, fish and mature cheeses.
About the houseA pioneer of biodynamics in Champagne, which almost disappeared after the death of the last of the family, and today, under American owners, carries out the most daring experiments in the region: wine fermented in a barrel lined with 24-carat gold and Champagne aged 60 m beneath the surface of the Atlantic.History, people and stories: Leclerc Briant
