About this bottle
Dom Pérignon is named after the Benedictine monk from the abbey in Hautvillers (pronounced oh-vee-LAIR) and has made only vintage Champagne from the start. Each wine comes from a single year and is made only when the year allows it.
This bottle holds 3 litres and has a Luminous label: the shield with the logo lights up when switched on, which looks good at an evening party.
The blend combines Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and the wine ages in the house's cellars for many years before disgorgement.
A jeroboam is a bottle for a large party, a wedding or New Year's Eve. Serve at 10-12 °C, with seafood, fish and mature cheeses.
