About this bottle
Lanson Le Black Création is a dry white sparkling wine from France. It is the flagship Brut of the Lanson house, the successor to Black Label. Lanson is famous for a fresh style based mainly on wines that do not go through malolactic fermentation. On the nose, ripe apple, lemon and white flowers, followed by notes of brioche, nuts, honey and yeast. The bubbles are fine, the palate fresh, mature and dry, and the finish long and mineral, with a hint of bread. Excellent as an aperitif and with seafood, poultry, fish and mature cheeses.
About the houseOne of the oldest houses in Champagne, with a Maltese cross on its label and a British Royal Warrant since the time of Queen Victoria. Lanson is known for an approach rare among large houses: most of its wines do not go through malolactic fermentation, so they are crisp and long-lived.History, people and stories: Lanson
