About this bottle
Billecart-Salmon Blanc de Blancs (pronounced blahn duh BLAHN) Grand Cru is a dry white sparkling wine from France. It is a Champagne from grand cru vineyards (pronounced grahn KREW), made entirely from Chardonnay, from a house famous for exceptional finesse and very delicate bubbles. It combines lightness with deep chalky minerality. On the nose, lemon, green apple and white flowers, followed by notes of brioche, almond and chalk. The bubbles are remarkably fine and silky, the palate elegant, taut and precise, and the finish long, citrusy and mineral. Excellent as an aperitif and with oysters, seafood, fish and poultry.

About the houseA family house from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ that for more than two hundred years has made Champagne its own way: cool, slow and obsessed with freshness. Many sommeliers start a conversation about rosé Champagne with its rosé, and its Nicolas François 1959 won a tasting in 1999 held to choose the Champagne of the millennium.History, people and stories: Billecart-Salmon
