About this bottle
Cuvée (pronounced koo-VAY) de Réserve is a vintage Champagne from the Loriot-Pagel house in Festigny, made from the three main Champagne grapes in equal proportions. We confirm the vintage when you order.
It is golden in colour with great brilliance. The bouquet has fresh walnuts and hazelnuts, bread, butter and fruit cooked in honey, with spices: pepper and nutmeg. On the palate, sweet bun, honey and a touch of butter, and the finish is long, silky and fruity.
The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier come from the family's vineyards in the Marne Valley and on the Côte des Blancs (pronounced koht day BLAHN). A moderate dosage preserves its freshness, although the wine is long and powerful.
For the table: with delicate meat or with foie gras.
About the houseA family of growers from Festigny, descended from Jules Léopold Loriot, born in 1838, who have made their own Champagne since 1929. Loriot-Pagel combines Meunier from the Marne valley with Chardonnay from the Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, and submits only vintages made from Meunier alone to the Club Trésors de Champagne.History, people and stories: Loriot-Pagel
