Le Mesnil is a growers' cooperative in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger (pronounced luh may-neel syoor oh-zhay), a grand cru village (pronounced grahn KREW) in the Côte des Blancs (pronounced koht day BLAHN), a village famous for Chardonnay.
Prestige is the cooperative's vintage wine. This bottle is from the 2008 vintage, regarded in Champagne as outstanding.
