About this bottle
H. Blin Brut Tradition is a dry white sparkling wine from France. It is a Champagne from the H. Blin house in the Marne Valley, based mainly on Meunier, which gives it a fruity, approachable character. It ages on the lees, in a balanced, friendly style. On the nose, ripe apple, pear and peach, followed by notes of brioche, almond and yeast. The bubbles are fine and creamy, the palate fresh and fruity, and the finish long, with a hint of bread. Excellent as an aperitif and with seafood, poultry, fish and light dishes.
About the houseA cooperative from Vincelles, a village on the Marne west of Épernay, which since 1947 has championed Meunier, a grape long treated in Champagne as the poor relation of Pinot Noir. In 2026 The Drinks Business called it a cooperative that particularly promotes Meunier.History, people and stories: H. Blin
