About this bottle
Dom Pérignon is named after the Benedictine monk from the abbey in Hautvillers (pronounced oh-vee-LAIR) and has made only vintage Champagne from the start. Each wine comes from a single year and is made only when the year allows it. Plénitude 3 is the third and final release of a vintage, sold after several decades of ageing on the lees.
The bouquet is intense and mature: candied fruit, brioche, nuts and mineral notes. On the palate the wine is deep and lively, with a very long finish.
The blend combines Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and the wine ages in the house's cellars for many years before disgorgement.
Serve at 10-12 °C. A bottle for the cellar and for a truly special occasion.
