About this bottle
Lanson White Label Sec is a medium-dry white sparkling wine from France. It is a Champagne in the Sec style, with a higher dosage than Brut, which makes it gently sweet and easy to like. Lanson is famous for a fresh style based mainly on wines that do not go through malolactic fermentation. On the nose, ripe apple, peach and citrus, followed by notes of brioche, honey and yeast. The bubbles are fine, the palate fresh, fruity and slightly sweet, and the finish long, with a hint of bread. Excellent as an aperitif and with Asian cuisine, mildly spicy dishes, fruit and desserts.
About the houseOne of the oldest houses in Champagne, with a Maltese cross on its label and a British Royal Warrant since the time of Queen Victoria. Lanson is known for an approach rare among large houses: most of its wines do not go through malolactic fermentation, so they are crisp and long-lived.History, people and stories: Lanson
