About this bottle
Ayala is a house from Aÿ (pronounced ah-EE), founded in 1860 by Edmond de Ayala. Since 2005 it has belonged to the owners of Bollinger, but it has kept its own character: lighter Champagnes with a clear share of Chardonnay and a low dosage.
Brut Majeur is the house's core blend and the best showcase of its style: a slender, fresh Champagne, very clean on the palate.
The bottle comes in the house's own box, so it makes a gift without extra wrapping. At the table it works as an aperitif and with seafood.
