About this bottle
Marguet is a house in Ambonnay (pronounced ahm-bon-nay), a grand cru village (pronounced grahn KREW) in the Montagne de Reims (pronounced mohn-TAN-yuh duh RANS), run by Benoît Marguet. The vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically.
Shaman is the house's core range, made from grand cru grapes. The number in the name is the base vintage, here 2021.
The wine has a soft mousse, pure fruit and a light, broad structure: white stone fruit, apple, a hint of brioche and minerality.
As an aperitif and with fish and poultry.
