About this bottle
Louis Roederer Carte Blanche (pronounced kart blahnsh) is a medium-sweet white sparkling wine from France. It is a Champagne in the Demi-Sec style, with a higher dosage that makes it gently sweet, from the highly regarded Roederer house (pronounced ROH-duh-rer). The classic blend of the three Champagne grapes ages on the lees. On the nose, ripe apple, peach and citrus, followed by notes of brioche, honey and vanilla. The bubbles are fine and creamy, the palate round and sweetish, and the finish long, with a hint of fruit and bread. Excellent with desserts, fruit cakes and foie gras, and as a Champagne for a sweet end to a meal.
