About this bottle
Louis Roederer Brut Vintage 2016 is a dry white sparkling wine from France. It is a vintage Champagne from one of the most highly regarded houses in Champagne, made only in good years from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from its own vineyards. Long ageing on the lees adds depth. On the nose, ripe apple, peach and citrus, followed by developed notes of brioche, hazelnut, honey and chalk. The bubbles are very fine and creamy, the palate full, mature and precise, and the finish long and mineral, with a hint of bread. Excellent as a celebratory aperitif and with seafood, lobster, poultry and mature cheeses.
