Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru
At a glance
About this bottle
A vintage Blanc de Blancs (pronounced blahn duh BLAHN) from the Loriot family, made exclusively from Chardonnay from Grand Cru Avize (pronounced a-VEEZ), Cramant (pronounced kra-MAHN) and Oger (pronounced oh-zhay) on the Côte des Blancs (pronounced koht day BLAHN). We confirm the vintage when you order.
In this style citrus, marzipan, pear and honey dominate, and on the palate white flowers, linden and acacia with almonds in the background. Each vintage turns out slightly different.
Three grand cru villages (pronounced grahn KREW) give it minerality and subtlety. The wine has great potential and can still gain in the cellar.
Best with fish. A good choice for an elegant dinner.
About the houseA family of growers from Festigny, descended from Jules Léopold Loriot, born in 1838, who have made their own Champagne since 1929. Loriot-Pagel combines Meunier from the Marne valley with Chardonnay from the Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, and submits only vintages made from Meunier alone to the Club Trésors de Champagne.History, people and stories: Loriot-Pagel
