About this bottle
Leclerc Briant Abyss is a Champagne from France. It is a remarkable cult cuvée (pronounced koo-VAY) of the pioneering biodynamic house Leclerc Briant. The bottles of this cuvée age submerged on the seabed, which gives the wine an unusual texture and minerality. It is made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier. On the nose, ripe apple, peach, citrus, a hint of brioche, nuts, honey and a distinct salty, sea-air note. The bubbles are very fine and creamy, the palate full and deep, and the finish remarkably long and mineral. Excellent for special occasions and with seafood, shellfish, fish and refined cuisine. A one-of-a-kind collector's Champagne with an unmistakable character.
