Henri Giraud is a family house in Aÿ (pronounced ah-EE), a grand cru village (pronounced grahn KREW) , a village famous for Pinot Noir. The wines mature in barrels made of oak from the Argonne forest.
Hommage au Pinot Noir, as the name says, is based on Pinot Noir from Aÿ.
