About this bottle
Deutz Amour de Deutz is a Champagne from France. It is the prestige cuvée (pronounced koo-VAY) of the Deutz house from Aÿ (pronounced ah-EE), a vintage Champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay (Blanc de Blancs pronounced blahn duh blahn), after many years of ageing on the lees. It is a refined collector's Champagne of the highest order. On the nose, ripe apple, peach, citrus, a hint of brioche, hazelnut, honey and toast. The bubbles are very fine and creamy, the palate full, silky and precise, and the finish remarkably long and mineral. Excellent for special occasions, as an aperitif and with seafood, shellfish, fish and caviar. A prestige Champagne in a collector's edition.
