About this bottle
Taisne Riocour Grande Réserve is a white sparkling wine from France. It is a Champagne from an artisan producer, combining Pinot Noir with Chardonnay, with ageing on the lees that gives it depth. It is a balanced, classic style. On the nose, ripe apple, pear, citrus, a hint of brioche and yeast. The bubbles are fine and creamy, the palate fresh, balanced and precise, and the finish long, with a hint of bread. Excellent as an aperitif and with seafood, fish, poultry and light dishes.
About the houseA family from Les Riceys, the southernmost and largest commune in Champagne, which for decades sold its wines to the Ayala and Joseph Perrier houses. Since 2018 it has been releasing them under its own name, and the first blends were put together by Philippe Jamesse, one of the best-known sommeliers in the region.History, people and stories: Taisne Riocour
