About this bottle
Canard-Duchêne is a house from Ludes (pronounced LOOD) on the Montagne de Reims (pronounced mohn-TAN-yuh duh RANS), founded in 1868 by Victor Canard and Léonie Duchêne. The double-headed eagle on the label recalls that the house supplied Champagne to the court of the Tsars. Today it belongs to the Thiénot group.
Rosé is the house's rosé Brut in a pale pink bottle, made in a fresh, fruity style.
It works as an aperitif and with salmon, prawns and strawberry desserts.
