About this bottle

Bollinger is a house in Aÿ (pronounced ah-EE) founded in 1829. Vieilles Vignes Françaises is its rarest wine.

It is made from Pinot Noir from two small plots in Aÿ, where the vines grow on their own roots, not grafted onto American rootstock, just as before the phylloxera epidemic. They are tended in the traditional way, and yields are very low.

It is a Blanc de Noirs (pronounced blahn duh NWAR) from a single vintage, here 2014, produced in a small number of bottles.

A gift for a collector or for an occasion that comes once in many years.

The bottle comes in the house's box, ready to give as a gift.

About the houseA family house from Aÿ, loyal to Pinot Noir and oak barrels, supplier to the British court since 1884 and James Bond's Champagne. In three years, in 2029, it will celebrate its 200th anniversary.History, people and stories: Bollinger
