About this bottle
Abelé 1757 is one of the oldest houses in Reims (pronounced rans) - it dates its history from 1757, which is in its name. Today it belongs to Terroirs & Vignerons de Champagne, a cooperative group that also runs the Nicolas Feuillatte brand (pronounced nee-koh-LAH fuh-YAT).
Brut is the house's core non-vintage blend, made to taste similar from year to year: fresh and moderately mature.
Good as an aperitif, with nibbles and light fish dishes. It also works as a Champagne for a larger gathering, when a trusted brand at a sensible price matters.
