About this bottle
Dhondt-Grellet is a family estate in the Côte des Blancs (pronounced koht day BLAHN), run by Adrien Dhondt.
Les Terres Fines is lively and delicately creamy, with aromas of apple and citrus and a distinctly chalky minerality.
It is Chardonnay from old vines in Cuis (pronounced KWEE), a premier cru village (pronounced pruh-MYAY KREW). Reserve wines from a reserve kept since 1986 are added to the young wine. The dosage is low, as in an Extra Brut.
With oysters, fish and sushi.
